Hi friends! Happy post-Superbowl Monday :) I didn’t even know the Superbowl was yesterday until like Thursday lol I’m pretty sure every millennial up in this piece was ECSTATIC to see Ursher and all those guest performers (esp. Alicia and Luda). I did not have a personal connection to either of the teams playing, but I loved how coordinated the jersey colors were. Red, white, and gold is a nice combination. I know today’s newsletter is a bit late in the day, but I stayed up later than normal last night. And I was pooped from the Usher excitement. So let us usher in this week’s list:
Shoutout to Oruny for sharing this amazing TikTok of a teacher teaching her class who Usher is. We gotta educate the youth, and I salute all the teachers out there doing God’s work.

Another shoutout to Jess who introduced me to Paige Wassel, only the coolest interior design/decor/furniture YouTuber out there. I love her IG and YouTube channel, which feature beautiful, cozy, unique homes :) She’s a big advocate for thrifted furniture and goods, which is cool.
Love seeing peoples’ notes. I feel like you can tell a lot about a person and what/how they write. I know our notes’ app got some of our deepest, darkest, cringiest thoughts too, but it hits different when you write it out by hand. I guess because you’re taking the time to do so, and it’s not as convenient… which tells me it’s something you want to work out, memorize, see, or brainstorm more intently than a digital note. Let’s take a look at the notes of no other than…*drumroll*…Eminem!!!
Start at 2:28 to see him talk about his notes.
Would you try this new flavor from Coke?
Since Andre 3000 dropped that flute album, it only makes sense that Lil Jon is about to drop a guided meditation album. I’m trying realllllly hard to imagine a soothing and calming guided meditation from Lil Jon, but, unless he sounds like Dave Chappelle’s serious rendition of him (1:40), I’m struggling to see how this is going to work lol
Uh oh…incognito mode is not so incognito.
Dude, I love me a well-designed restaurant menu. Sure, I love a Chinese restaurant or diner menu that’s old and has way too many options that force me to just order the same thing I’ve ordered for 17 years. However, I also love a gorgeous graphic design-y menu that may be better than the actual food at the restaurant, but hey–at least the menu’s beautiful.
These were all the trailers shown during the Superbowl. I’m most excited for Deadpool 2, Inside Out 2, Twisters (essentially Twister 2), and The Fall Guy. All of the ones I listed are sequels except one. We need some more original content folks. And when I say folks, I mean Hollywood.
Okay friends, that’s it for this week! Stay tuned for a big announcement I’d like to make in the coming weeks (well, it’s not that big, but it feels big for me and this newsletter lol). Hope you have a great week :)
DEADPOOL?!??!!
